Cannot connect to the server for some reason

The maintenance is running long and should be up in about a half an hour (4:30 PM Central). Our apologies for the extended duration.

Where are you getting that they're down for maintenance? Can't you READ? The servers are UP Don't you think if the servers were down for maintenance or they were down in general that the message would reflect that the servers were down or under maintenance? Telling us the servers are up but if in fact they were down would be very misleading don't you think? There's even an FAQ about what to do when you see this message, changes you can make to your computer to try and fix it. So obviously they're telling us to make changes to our computers because the problem is not with them but with us.

Null/Sam got to say, it took a lot for me to not through my tablet accross the room yesterday(not really). It took even more not to get on here and cuss someone out...lol. I have invested a lot and of time and money into your awesome game and it being down was just sad. You guys are simply awesome at what you do. You paid attention to everyone and you fixed the connection faster then I can get too upset. Honestly, keep it up and AL can have my time and pocket book anythime, thanks!
