If your level 55 with 50k exp, your exp will be divided by 10. You will only have 5k exp after the cap rise.
Level 56 will only require 8.4k exp to reach level 57.
Level 56 Elite Quests will go away
Level 61 Elite Quests will be added
Players holding the Crown of Persistence will get to keep their helmets, making them rare discontinued items.
