Dexbears will destroy this class any single day of the week. Bears have everything the birds have (At Level 10), but more armor and dodge and health. (skilled ones)

Birds have root, and it's enough to being able to stay away from dexbears skillrange. End result = Bird, lower wep dmg + skill damage VS dexbears weapon damage ONLY. And if you dont yet get it, birds wins fights like this easily if succes what trying on.

Bears can easily stomp out of root and scream to stun. Any good dex bear can beat just about any pure dex avian at 20. Feel free to disagree but please don't turn this thread into a flame war

I know, I have done it so many time against dexbears so I know it's nit hard to kill them.
But let's use this your pointed thing out as example. Bear is rooted and stomps out, I keep myself 12m away from bear and bears scream (10m) doesn't affect. Root reuse time is low(and lower than stomp) and thenyou are again rooted. And at the end bear really can't deal any Other than weapon damage ( if bird succes what he is trying to do ).

And I'm not trying to take this as flame war but as here again, and many times on other topics ppl keep dexbears at lowlvl gods, even thy have their bad side what is easy to "exploit" with avian. ( also using snowball launcher help because of frozen ability )
