What is making it seem like an instakill is the stacking of poison damage by multiple players.
100% agreed about not wanting to use lv 46 Dragon Staff again after doing the whole Tainted set with roses et al.
My idea for the fix is that an immunity should implemented where a Boss/player cannot be affected by poison damage more than once for a certain duration. To further balance it, reduce the poison damage from 50% to 45 % or 40% if required, as seems fit by devs, keeping in mind that Dragon Staff procs do significant damage per tick.
