I'm assuming that the mad scientist will only be around for a little bit maybe 2 weeks or so but are the other drops going to be permanently dropping or is this equivalent to the last solstice event

He is a permanent addition as far as I am aware.

Does that mean the new druidic solstice loot is not permanent?

Also, when we are told "New variations of druid solstice garb can now rarely be found"

....is that rarely found like the Kriegberg Stone that can be reasonably farmed?
-or-
....is that rarely found like the Undead Antler Mask and Albino Bats that many farmed with hundreds of thousands of kills added to stats but no drop?

Undead doesn't drop any more....so I hope you haven't been farming for it.

Now you tell me. All those months wasted on a retired drop. I'm gonna have to spend all my time farming for the fire jewel bracelet instead...jk. I only used Undead Antler as an example.

It would be nice if there was a way to get a Fire Gem to combine with the USELESS Fire Shards being sold in the auction house, since I didn't even know about sts until 2013.....

lol....and yeah I was hoping to get an updated fire bracelet gem this summer....but new moon relic makes up for it. ^_^
