Start your game, then switch apps via your home key or whatever and turn on your music player, switch back to game, and you're good. I do this with my podcasts mostly. I sort of wish there was an in-game volume control though, I'd like to still have sounds on, but not at full-blast.

If ur on a head phones with a mic or on a blue tooth u can answere ur phone call then press home button, then tap pl app.
It let's u talk on ur phone call and play pl at the same time. On wifi or 3G it doesn't matter. Tested both and works just fine.

A easier way to listen to ur music is to go to IPod app 1st, hit play, then open pl app.
