L20 Bird
Using:
l10 Str Plat Pack Helm
l20 Purple Forgotten Bow
l5 Crafted Armsman
So far I've been recommended:
6 evade, 5 focus, 3 break, 1 root, 1 blast, 1 repulse, 1 shattering, and 1 blind.
I was also recommended 3 root and 1 break.
Which would you recommend?

5 focus is too much because you don't really need 115 hit % to land your combo, 4 focus is just fine.
And break is a need for birds as it lowers the armor for the combo, its called the sucker punch effect!

Maybe it's just me, but that much into break at that level is excessive given armor is extremely low at that level. Also, since Shattering Scream does not release from root til level 3-4, a decent kiter could refrain from being in it's range. I would also say maxing focus is critical as it not only adds hit% but crit as well. It also assists in Forgotten bows double blind proc as well as Blinding shot other birds may have which, lower hit %.
And before you flame, I use to have 19-21's. I don't have to currently play at that level to understand game mechanics which apply to all levels.

Before Forg 4 break build works just fine. After FB came out, they'll be like "Go ahead and break my armor! Lemme land this combo" and pew! You're dead.
I would recommend Maxed buffs, 2 into Root, 1 into Shattering Scream, Break, Blinding, Repulse, Blast. You'll need the 2 root, low level is almost 50% birds now.
