Hey...I am new to al...
I wonder which pet should I get,
Malison, colton, clyle, wrathjaw or???
Please explain to me... thx... :-)

I guess Wrathjaw out of the above you listed since it increases nice INT, though Mali is also very good. Clyde's stun is good and idk about Colton.

Colton is great for damage, Malison for health and balance, clyde for his stun (works on bosses)... wrathjaw was a great option back when he cost 5k, now he's closer to 300k (no idea why).

Simply because its an awesome pet. And rare. And will soon eclipse malison with the damage bonus.

if you can get any of the above itd be good, each for its own reason
but i found malison to be a multiple purposes pet, good for elite maps, bosses, pvp.

Also consider orion for a great defensive pet for a mage. Major health boost (260) damage reduction (2%), int boost (20). Arcane and passive abilities give 10% damage, buffs and debuffs reducing enemies armor and damage, etc. Now one of my favorite pets, especially for farming in elite nordr levels where an extra little defense is needed.

Malison is very good for mobs. But for bosses use wrathjaw. For you as a mage i would recommend wrathjaw.

I like ribbits crit bonus but thats just me. Not many mages focusing on crit in their build like i am lol

There's a reason for it, it's not effective. I went all out on crit during the KI upgrade and we proved it's not worth it. Looks cool, but not effective compared to damage.

I dunno. Ive been sticking with it thru this update and i like it. Having more skill points to buff other passives a bit more has helped a good bit.
Without ribbit every 3rd hit is a crit ans with him it gets fun. Running tombs with my guild and everyone with ribbit is real fun lol. But again this is just me. I can run normal maps and hoping next expansion doesnt go too crazy on bosses so i can play with this some more instead of respecing just to complete quests

It's all personal preference but I prefer Kettle. It has similar stats as Malison (less 5 str/dex/int) but it has that very noticable permanent 10% dmg increase buff. So basically you'd get decent defensive stats with a huge offensive boost. Its arcane ability is increased movement speed for you and your party.
As said, it's all personal preference though.

Is Flap Jack really that bad of a choice? The 8 mana reg and +15% damage seems like it'd be fair, correct me if I'm wrong as I'm in the same situation. Not sure between him, Wrathjaw, Clyde, and Orion (for defensive purposes).
