Level till 13 or so by running all the maps from ydra outskirts to tower of mardrom. Then go to traveler's outpost and enter the watcher's tomb. Complete all of the tombs, while talking to the guy outside after each run. Then run the last tomb, watcher's tomb four, till 23. Then go to Nordr and run Jurn Woods and Mount Spyr. Gl levelin!

Wouldn't you do WT runs before Ydra?

No, since wt would be too hard below 13. You could try wt1 though.

Run all the maps. Talk to NPCs. Explore dungeons.
You can start farming EXP at the tombs in Traveler's Outpost or in Kraag.

You could do things slow, taking your time in leveling, not grinding, just running through the maps, essentially playing the game. Or you can power level, that is grind xp. For a first char I recommend just taking things slow so you'll know a lot about the game; for an alt, go ahead and plvl.

Did the first Ydra map and it filled half my xp bar.
Yes, it is my first AL character past the lvl 9 mark.

keep grinding it 'til you reach 13...then run ydra. But it would be better if you go slowly and understand the game mechanics; its different from PL.

When I'll be able to get on AL, yes. Chrome problem is so frustrating; I can only play on the iPad which is rarely available. Anyway lookin' forward to seein ya ig.

What's wrong with your chrome?

Green's guide doesn't work because 1) i don't have old_chrome and 2) it automatically updates the version when I download an older one.

How I solved this problem:
1) Get Chrome v25 or lower
2) If it says "Application is not supported by your computer, installation is disabled" in Chrome App Store for AL, use this link account.spacetimestudios.com/arcanelegends. Click add it to Chrome and taada!
Sadly, for me, everytime I close all the tabs of my v25 Chrome, it updates to v27. Everytime I had to uninstall and reinstall v25. Sigh. :/
