I may be hated by all senior forum nerds now, but why is it so important with different ranks depending on number of posts? I know a forum where the post count doesn't show. I love it! Everyone is treated the same way, and no one looks at another members post count and say things like "Hey, you're a forum newb, I don't have to listen to you..."
My personal opinion is that it's more important with what you write not how much you write.
Ok, just my two cents. :)
