Hello, STS Forum-Goers,

I've been curious to ask, what type of cars do you prefer?

What I'm looking for here is the following:

• Two Choices: A realistic car within your price range & your dream car
• Engine Type: Naturally Aspirated, TurboCharged, etc?
• Body Type: Sedan, Coupe, SUV, etc
• Engineering: German, American Muscle, Japanese, etc.

NOTE: Please, no concept cars!

Here's mine!
• Realistic: Mercedes SLK55 ///AMG or later on, if I can afford it, the Nissan GTR
• Dream: Mercedes SLS ///AMG
• Naturally Aspirated (I love pure HP.)
• Body Type: Any, I love all, as long as it's sleek, stylish, and sexy.
• Engineering: German preferably, then American Muscle or Japanese

The dream car (is the wallpaper):

But unfortunately, that's a concept car. I should add that in the OP, lol. I mean cars that are available at this very moment.

Realistic: Mazda RX-8 (maybe even my first car).
Dream: Zenvo ST1

32663

1250 HP, 7-liter V-8, and the only production car to have both a superchargo and turbo. Also, nearly the entire thing is made out of carbon fiber. I envy Jay Leno who has one of the three that was sold in the United States, only cost him $1.8m.

Realistic:

My first car will be probably a German basic student car like Volkswagen or Opel (have you heard of Opel?), not only because I can basically get them just outside the front door but because I first want to start "small".

When I have children I will probably switch to combos or SUV's; I am thinking of the Ford Galaxy because my parents have it at the moment.

Dream:

My dream car (which perhaps comes true when I'm 60) is the Maserati GranTurismo:
http://i1361.photobucket.com/albums/r674/DocDoBig/Maserati_GranTurismo-S_117_1680x1050_zpsedceb41e.jpg

Engineering: Italy
Body type: 2+2 coupé
Engine: 4.7L (4692cc) V8
440PS (434hp) at 7,000. Redline: 7,500

But I think in 2055 there are better and fancier cars (or they are already flying). ;)

I love the look of the Audi R8 and it's one of the few supercars which can actually be used in Finland during winter.

I wouldn't mind a Land Cruiser. I have no desire for a Ferrari or anything like that, although they are nice I would never buy one.32695

Dream car: any old American muscle car, 1971/1972 Dodge Charger for example.
32721
Costs about 15k-20k usd, so it will hopefully be realistic in the future.

Nice!

I personally want a muscle car as well, however other cars are a priority over American muscle. Trust me, I do appreciate American muscle, but I just appreciate German M Power or ///AMG power way more.

Why do I say this? After driving M5 and my aunt's SLK55 ///AMG (Soon to be mine, swapping cars, as her car doesn't do well in a cold climate.) I can say that the experience is like no other.

Speaking of Tesla, my neighbor recently got one. (Not sure which one, haven't got a chance to really look at it) But, it looks really slick at first glance.

who wouldn't right? lol

I wouldn't. For all the crap he gets, work he has to do, and people he has to talk to, it'd be a nightmare. Even being a horrible president takes a hella lot of work.

The Audi R8 is pretty affordable as high end sports/super cars go. It costs 200,000 USD stock.

Sure, just don't open the glove compartment, please. (For your own safety of course) ;)

Personally my Dream Car would probably be a Lychen. 33022 This is a Lychen, A cool thing it features is said in this quote, "The maker of the first Arabic supercar, the W Motors Hyper-sport, says its upcoming flagship model will become the first vehicle in the world to feature hologram technology.Sounding like something out of Star Wars, the Beirut-based company says the Hyper-sport will integrate a “fully functional holographic display with interactive motion”, putting it “years of innovation ahead of [the] competition”. Advancing the concept of today’s head-up display systems, that project information onto the windscreen in the driver’s line of sight in some high-end cars, holograms give the appearance of the images hovering in the air, creating an entirely new behind-the-wheel experience."

Yeah, but it doesn't matter for me.. I would never spend that much money on a car. It is my preference.....
