Rather than running all the way back to the boss through an empty map, can we get some checkpoints? Lack of rev can be annoying, and I don't want to be dishing out 1p every death. Devs can make it far back enough to where people that are willing to spend the 1p still will, but close enough to where players won't have to run all the way from the start to the boss again. Gets old, especially in places that bosses 1 shot like nothing. Would take minimal effort too. Rip off Mario and put a flag (a plain banner) somewhere towards the later parts of each map, and once you pass it the flag changes colors from say white to blue or orange. If you die and hit respawn at entrance, you'll respawn at that checkpoint given you're in an area where you've already passed it.

There are two maps that are great like this. southern seas in kraken isle and tower of mardrom in dead city. It would be great if more maps were like this.

+1 to the idea! Elite skull cove would be way more doable.

That would be very helpful in elite farming. It should be activated when all party members stand near for an extended amount of time. That would solve the issue of people just running to the end.
