War Bird Help

Hey guys! I am a level 27 bird and I want to try a war bird. I know what you are thinking, war bird is way better at 30, but I am not going to level :). If anyone has any tips, builds, gear suggestions, combos, or anything please tell me! My ign is thebigboo, I am pretty active so shoot me a pm or post a comment on here if you have any helpful suggestions, thanks! P.s, I'd like to try a reaper blade instead of an onyx sword set!

I would think that a useful setup would be to use L5 or L15 armsman (depends on req. of reaper and shield), pink 25 reaper, pink 25 bone cage, and pink 20 warrior helm. Ask someone else for builds/combos.

Build: 6 Focus, 6 Evasion, 1 Shattering scream, 3 blast shot, 1 Repulse, 3 Break, 2 Root, 1 Root Wall, 2 Blind 1 Avian

I sort of pulled the build out of no where, as I know it probably sucks :P But I have both roots there because you're obviously going to wanna get close to your target, and if it's not a bird, they can easily get out of root. Use one root to get close to them, but use the second root ONLY if they dodge it. If they DON'T dodge it, DON'T use the second root. Wait until they get out of it, then use the second root because they can't heal or stomp right after and you'll be able to auto them. I know, you're thinking , "DAYUM, what's up with the avian scream?" I believe that avian scream is under thought of, and I think of it as useful, me being a warbird at 32, 40, 56, 66. I've always found this useful. Avian scream at a lower level, (and skill level) does good because its about 200 extra damage on top of a stun. The stun is enough to get a couple autos in, and that's good enough, much less the 200 damage. I've killed so many PvPers from using Avian scream. If you don't like that, you could try something else, but it's just my opinion:) GL and have fun! If I'm missing anything that you'd like to know, just tell me.

I had a level 26 Warbird and used this build:
6 Evade
6 Focus
6 Blast Shot
3 Shattering Scream
2 Break Armor
1 Thorn Root
1 Repulse

Reun's items are probably the best you can go for, though I would take a look at the Vyxnaar (I think that's how it's spelled?) helm as well.

Armsman gives a lot of hit %. I think 8?

I used to be best warbird at 26 for a period before I quit. I was onyxbird & the gear I used were L15 armsman, L25 vyxnaar helm, and L25 onyx battlesword but you can use the forgotten blade.

My build was 6evade, 6 focus, 6 blast shot, 2 blind, 2 repulse, 1 root, 2 break armor, 1 shatter scream. I know this build is a bit random but it actually worked. This was my damage build, but you can take points off repulse & blind to add to break armor.

Combos- vs birds- root, break, shatter, blast, blind, repulse in that order.

Vs Mages- blind, root, break, shatter, blast, repulse

Vs bears- repulse, break, root, shatter, blast, blind

Also, keep in mind that all of this info is from when I did warbird PRE-FORG. A lot has changed since forge came & its hard to say if any of this still works. Good luck too ya :)

Skills points : 6 focus, 6 evasion, 5 break, 4 blast shot, 1 shattering, 1 repulse, 1 blinding 1 root
Items :.Onyx sword set, dodging ring with damage
Combo : focus, evasion, root shatter break blast blind repulse

I don't think it is viable anymore, since forgotten bows came out.
Maybe change the onyx sword for a forgotten blade?
You also could use rhino sword pack.. I think it is good..
And add 1 point on blast since you're lvl27.
