Does this challenger guy appears like an Arcane Items & Mythic Items that can be found in locked crates ? Is that how rare he is to face, same chance at locked?

Not sure, but it took me a total of 5 farming hours to face the guy.

I was trying to face this guy too, running inside - out of the Shuyal Arena in more than 100 times. Still no luck :/

Tried another 100 times back & forth run still no sign of him :/ i hope his rarity will go down like a legendary item :hopelessness:

he doesn't show up that often but killing him gives an achievement.
I need to find him to.
To those who have fought him: Is he an existing boss or is he totally new? If he's new what does he look like?

Haha, so true, not very tough. But on a serious note, when you have spent 10-15 hours of playing waiting for him to spawn, you don't want to risk your squishy sorcerer being killed by a mob of spiders if it has the potential of you not getting the achievement.

I think I was lucky got him in the 2nd run that I did ....Thought to be bug... but when i got ahievement i came to know he was the child
