Maybe you could factor in recent activity? I know the top guilds list mostly depends on the amount of players in the guild. But is it possible to factor in recent elite, arena runs? Or even recent PvP activity? Because I think that's what most players are looking for in a guild.
A guild with 3000 members could be ranked toward the top but none of the players could be playing recently.
