1 star :/??

I was in the itunes store to see if pl was number 1 yet xD to notice that it was rated 3.5 I check the reviews all practically 4-5 stars and 22 people had rated 1 star a couple 2 star I don't understand how people can rate this game so low they get to level 18 for free so even then its fun I honestly don't understand :/

Whats your opinion?? Why could this happen

Also how is the app stores top 10 organized? Because some of the games in there are 2-3 stars..

I think those are some inexperienced gamers and such. Like no idea what MMORPG is, totally expecting something different and were like WTF when they played. Or maybe some other supporters of other MMO's TRYING to make it on iDevices. They're loss :P

Haters, trolls. A ton of people that get banned, or realize the app isn't 100% free will go on and be a hater by giving it 1 star. They're missing out tho:/

I have a few friends that have successfully developed for the app store, those top ten have nothing to do with popularity and all to do with paying apple for more exposure to your app.

When apple (which they won't: see my previous post) allow you to search via user ratings/reviews then it will be more realistic. Also apple take a nice chunk of all those plat purchases we make as well.

People rate things with 1 start with the diluted idea that their demands will be met. "make the game free and change my rating to five stars" or "fix the drop rate.." etc.

Ofcourse so many people do this, that ratings are almost meaningless on app store. Dont take it seriously.

Will do it's just take a look if you saw pl in the top 10 free apps everyone looks at top 10 free.

I remember I did all the time free games click-download

so imagine it, so many players! I saw a flashforward lol :P

This is an issue with every app in the appstore that is free to download but has paid content in game. People are cheap, and whine when they reach the end of the free content. For a free app with paid content, PL actually has exceptional ratings. Anyway, I've said several times, I think Apple should have separate review sections for paying customers and freeloaders who review badly simply because they don't want to pay.

majority of the one star reviews come from what i would suspect to be 12 year old boys. I see it all the time on many apps. They usually have user name like xxKillerGUyzofDOOmxx and leave a review of about 1 line.
