How does the rep bar work?

By your posts and by the thanks you get

Just your thanks. Each 50 thanks you receive, you'll get a new bar. Since each thank gives you 2 Rep points, 50 thanks will give u 100 Rep points which gives you another bar. A User can also thumb you up, and depending on his Rep power, you'll get Rep points. Say my Rep power is 200 (I wish :p). If I thumb you up, you'll have 200 Rep points added and therefore 2 more bars.

There's a proper guide with screenies n everything but I cant find it.

Its a little confusing, but your THANKS are the number of times u have thanked someone else and THANKED is the number of times you have been thanked.
