View Full Version : Time Shift cast error! Spell bug!

I would like to ask my fellow mages if they experience the same problem as me.

1 out of 15 or 20 times my Time Shift clock doesnt drop when i cast it.

The spell is cast because the cooldown starts but no clocks are dropped XD

Its not an internet problem, even in my hardest lag spells cast perfectly but it seems it certain specific situations the spell doenst work.

Anyone?

This skill fail issue affects all classes and supposedly all skills.

Dev's have said that the probability of it happening is higher when you try to launch your skill the moment it becomes fully charged.

So, the solution is to either release uncharged, or to wait another half second AFTER fully charging before you let it rip.

It's a known bug with all skills. I've have times when this costs me my life and I die because a Fireball didn't go off or a Timeshift didn't drop to root the mobs.

If any Dev's read this...do you guys have any idead on how to fix this and if so...when we might expect implementation?

Would be great because sometimes in the heat of the battle i just release instinctively without checking the CHARGED pop up

Thanks for the link keikali, hmmm 2010. A new client version needed? Im not an IT specialist but is this that big of an impact that it couldnt be fixed in all this time?

Not trying to complain too much because as far as i can see the game works almost perfectly for the most. Just saying.

Well. For all other mages out there. Today i had contact with one of the devs (great guys by the way, seriously) and they said that they havent been able to completely root out the problem but are doing their best. So they did what they could and are hoping to eliminate it totally in a future patch/version.

The first and only bug so far for me so its all cool.
