I have heard that there is a new update coming this weekend for 2x chance to get mythic/arcane items in chests. Sounds good!
My big question is will this affect the chests already found or chests found after the update? Many people will be buying locked chests like crazy this weekend looking for mythic items. I am under the assumption that what is in the locked chests will not change when using reroll elixirs or luck pendant.
I guess I am just wondering if it would be a waste of money buying locked crates to open after the update? Or should I just open the ones I find instead?

IF this 2x chance to get mythic and/or arcane items in chest is really coming, then it applies to ALL chests ( or crates ) in the game. And no, luck re-roll elixirs and the leprechaun pendant will not increase chances at getting mythics/arcane. Hope this helped! :)

Thanks! I was pretty sure that reroll had nothing to do with what was in the chests. Hope I find something soon!
I think its not 2x chance to get arcane or mythic - the chance is lower but you would get 3 such chances from a single opening locked crates. Mythic weapons will be more common from the elite chests and crates.

No its arcane/mythic r a bit higher since purps and greens r gone and there r 3 chances and mythic weaps r 2X
