Ok, crate change has my approval. No garbage items to junk (besides pinks, but that will change next expansion). I opened 14 crates to experience the change, ended with the same level of plat (gained 210, spent 210) and 80k more gold.

Actually not. Your sample size is probably pretty small. As I understand it, the Dev Team has simulations that look at 100,000 of thousands of opens (or more) to look at the average outcome.

Its just random rolls when you open the crates. Some will never get it and some will get it right off the bat. Yea it seems unfair but the system is actually "fair" if you think about it. EVERYONE has an equal chance to get the item because it is random.

I am talking about odds of mythic and platinum in crates. For ex now there are lots of platinum and bigger mythic chance, so 1100 plat now give much more chances to get something in crates.

It is raining tons of pinks devs tried opening some crates and i got tons of pinks and a mythic i think you are giving us tons of pinks and mythic more than what you should be giving us =( Itll overflow d market

the key to this update is the fact its limited time only. otherwise it would saturate the market. I like this. maybe once/year this should happen. kinda nice "boost" if you will.

I will just say that I played it very well in the opening hours of this offer as I already had crates horded for the next expansion....not anymore haha.

I did buy plat outright but was very happy with the outcome...well except for my last crate which was all 3 drops @ 2000 gold lol. but I cant complain. :pig:

I am talking about odds of mythic and platinum in crates. For ex now there are lots of platinum and bigger mythic chance, so 1100 plat now give much more chances to get something in crates.

There is only a very slightly increased chance for mythic/arcane items, not enough to effect a single player. Maybe the increased chance means 1 out of 50 players who otherwise would have not gotten a mythic will now get one. It's a very small increase as has been explained. It's doubtful it would change the outcome of you opening crates. I also spent about 1200 plat on opening crates and have never gotten any mythic or arcane items. They are very rare and your chances are totally random. "Random" is as fair as it can possibly be -- it means every crate gives the same exact chance. It doesn't matter if it's the 1st crate you opened, or the 500th crate that you opened, it still gives the same exact chance.

Mythical Weapons (bow, gun and sword 'n shield) no longer drop.

Mythical Armor and Mythical Helms do still drop.
