"Trick or Treat" Quest Guide! (With Pictures)

Well, I have seen some people having trouble with this quest, so here is a guide!

Here is a list of all the town-dwellers you need to "Trick or Treat"!

Great guide. I went through it and it still says 27/28...any of the townsfolk's trick not on the first dialog box?

I deleted the quest as I couldn't find the 28 and retook it again,

but all the tonwsfolk just don't say anything

is this a bug?

That's twice. I didn't quit the quest, and I think it's Ellie in FH. I don't remember her letting me prank her the first go round. One more time then I'm taking out my frustrations on a sixpack.

seems like you just go trick or treating. yea u gotta buy a costume for 5 plat , which really sucks since u cant keep the costume. i rather like being a 'human' or in this case a guy character for my enchantress.

at least in WoW when u go trick or treating, u get actual treats that help you in the game, like potions that give you special halloween-ish attritbutes, u get to turn into something for a certain number of days, the candy restores your health.

i cant say its any fun since you dont get anything with each person you talk to for the quest. plus it costs you 5 plat for a costume thats a rental.

Thanks for this guide, however, stuck on 27/28. Went through and followed your guide exactly to see what I missed and none of the NPCs give me the Treat options anymore. :(

I too abandoned the quest in the hopes that it would reset everything but it did not. Now no NPC gives me the treat option. I also emailed support with this issue.

Hmm, this happened to my friend as well, but it worked for me, I checked on all my characters. Maybe a bug? I tested it like 4 times, and I'll test it again if you want. But it works for me.

Ok, one character finished; one is stuck at 27/28. Go figure.

I might have broken one by first not have my costume on and talking to the mob and then later having it. I'm not sure. At the time, I did not realize the quest could be broken.

And Mystical, that is an amazing guide. Thanks. It doesn't fix the broken parts but the guide is very helpful.

I too didn't get a trick or treat from Krowe on one of my alts, but somehow finished the 28 on another. My husband and I did the quest together last night and wrote down every NPC and Krowe didn't work for either of our characters. I guess I'll just have to wait until they fix it. :)

So I was stuck at 27/28 just like everyone else. I foolishly dropped the quest thinking I'll go through it again to see which townsfolk didn't work for me. Now no one is allowing me to Trick-or-Treat... :mad:

It will probably be fixed tomorrow. They had a lot of work with all these new things so it doesnt surprise me that there are bugs.

Look cool, and after Nov. 1st feel cool because you have an item new players won't be able to get ;)
Anyway finish the remaining quests and you get an even cooler pumpkin head. Though I must say in a sense it would have made more sense to earn the bag then use it for the trick or treating quest...

Edit: Oh even better. You should get the bag, and then use it for trick or treating, then the reward for that quest would be random halloween drops from each townperson. Most would be grays, but with 28 drops you'd maybe get 1 or 2 nice ones. Maybe next year?

Awesome guide! Wow, that must have taken a lot of work. :) I was stuck at 26/28 until I checked this guide, but now I'm done!

No, you can talk to them in any order you like. The only requirement is that you are wearing a costume and get 28 of them.
