Locked crates with zero items, just gold?

As the subject said - did the expect with the changes that we'd see just gold and zero items in locked crates? Just opened a couple and each had 6000 gold in 3 pots of 2k each. Granted, it is better than unsellable common legendary but still it looked odd so worth asking...

Umm... you said you read the update, it was pretty obvious that the COMMON item is now gold and therefore highly likely that you will get just gold. Would you prefer to have gotten 36 gold worth of worthless items instead?
