Need Tapatalk.

Ok this company is mobile oriented, users have been asking for it despite it being a pay app.

Many forum owners just implement it due to it being a simple request by the users. It doesn't hurt anybody and no one gets forced to use it. It just greatly serves those who do use it.

It's extremely simple to add it. Would take like ten minutes of your time. Ten minutes of your time to make it extremely handy for us on the go to use the forums to coordinate and communicate for this game.

I don't see the harm, just the benefits. Please add it :)

There were other Tapatalk threads requesting this. I would love to see this added. It's the best way to browse forums on the iPhone.

It also benefits more than just iPhone users. Tapatalk is out for Android, Nokia, and Blackberry as well. There's a lot of people here that it would help out a bunch. Having implemented the plugin myself on other forums, it's one of the most trivial things you can do to add it. It inherits all security policies and disrupts nothing.

I think it's great for smartphones because instead of a mobile skin the app is just fetching ascii. People on Edge connections get the data far faster and more easily. Rather than clicking on links in the mobile skin you're having an app manage quotes and quick replies. It's less work for their server as a result.

I agree, this would be a great way to encourage new users to join forums who don't have a home computer

Yeah, we've looked at Taptalk. Our hesitation to add it was because the app is $2.99 and we didn't want to give the impression that you needed to shell out $$ to use the forums on your phone.

But a good reminder. Now that we have the mobile version of the forums available, it might be time to revisit adding it.

I wonder if Samhayne still works for StS. He hasn't had any activity here for a while. Was he pretty much the guy in charge of all that? Is it possible for someone to find the time to look at this?

I know the devs are very busy, I'd honestly rather the devs be working on the game itself if they don't have a community guy anymore. Just wondering.

I hate to rehash an old thread but I'd love to see the STS forum on Tapatalk. It'd make mobile browsing on the forum SO much better. The Mobile site is okay, but Tapatalk is a much better way to browse forums on the go.
