PvP Trash Talk

Here are positive and negative thing about the chat box in pvp.
Positive: You can plan your strategy with your teammate in order to kill the other teams player.
Negative: There are ppl out there who get irritated when they get killed or some ppl brags when they have a long Ks(killstreak). That that gets irritating sometimes. They trash talks you and irritate you until you go totally mad. Believe me this happens to me all the time they are so annoying.

In order to prevent trash talking I think you should only be able to only speak with your own team not with the other team. Disabling communication with the other team will prevent bad mouthing each other. If you cannot communicate with the other team it would also prevent 1v1 pvp matches that everybody does. I came up with this idea to prevent ppl from fighting and remember its just a game!!!!!!

I hope this would help. And if your the irritating trash talker that is reading this please stop doing it. Just because some ppl are better than others doesn't mean you have to tell them their weak or other mean things that's gonna hurt their feeling. Don't be childish. "Its Just a Game"

The worst part is that you are right... ppl don't know how behave... They become upset when they die... lol does the name deathmatch ring any bells?

And there's the NOOB yelling... So a player that as never done PVP should know how be the best... yeah kinda like a chip... we insert a chip in every players head and voilá... an instant TOP ELITE PLAYER...

A better option would this alert "You are being an asshole, you will be disconected for 1 hour!"

Easy, rush the trash talkers. Yes they will trash talk some more but it will make them rage & leave. Simple & funny

my cousin just quit the game cause of trash talker ive been wanting to suggest this. My cousin broke a macbook cause of trash talkers do you know how expensive macbooks are he threw it cause of frustration. now i have to buy a new one!!!. ugh

Ever heard of the ignore option?

Most trash talkers rage... Kill them a few times and problem solved. Endlessly and mercilessly. They either shut their pie holes or rage. If someone says something say "No hablo ingles". If they speak in spanish say "I don't speak spanish". If all else fails, "Say sprechen duetche?" or Je susi francais.

Most of the match laughs at them..You lose your cool they win... You stay cool and get much props. Many times I have had people after being ganged and trash talked people ask how I keep cool. I say it just a game... pixels mean nothing to me.... If they have to gang and trash talk to win... I won before it started...

Be realistic though, how can you stop all trashtalkers, its impossible. A term like idiot isnt reportable unless they harass you, because 'idiot' isnt blocked by filters meaning its usable.

Can be done but it wont stop such attitude.

Reason being as we are competing with real people hence being emotionless is almost impossible.what perhaps we can do is to take care of ourseleves,strive to be respectful to all and take a pinch with a smile.people arent perfect so what matters is how you carry yourself.

For example this one mage (who shall not be named) is mocking, swearing,trash talking to a point relating it to religion which is really rude.worse he had to create another toon and spyed in by joining the same guild as mine and using false identity.reported?yes and he is still around and does his usual mockery everyday.good mood i smile.bad mood i trash talk back and get some friends to join.some people can see it as lame,immature etc but ask urself can you remain calm all the time?if you can kudos to you else u just being human.sts rules are there to draw the line to decide what is too much and whats not.

I believe the ignore button is enough for now until a better solution of any comes .

If you take away the chat box it might just might making the scene dull.afterall it is a hidden pulling factor that makes you keep coming back somehow.

A tweak to the suggestion-to disable pms,party inv anything that is unrelated in pvp.as of npw u can still reply pms by using command.i tried respec while in pvp and failed.that might be good tho to be allowed.

Talk is cheap, action is what counts. From what I have seen, those who talk trash in PvP are usually pretty awful and those who are the good players usually keep their mouths shut and let their play speak for them. When I kill someone repeatedly and they yell "you #$!%#% noob", I just laugh.
