is runic flare best weapon for sorcerer?

No one really knows but it makes sence ......since rogues have arcane hooks/blades and mythic bow while warriors have arcane hammer and mythic swird and shield

This is why. There is a pattern. Unless the devs choose to break the pattern.

I doubt many/any pinks will trump runic flares stats and proc for next upgrade. My guess besides the new arcane wep it'll still be #1 such as myth helm is.

it really actually depends on your build, for a curse/dps build pvp mage firesquid is much better imo.

I read a thread somewhere, and I think it was from a dev, that stated myth items are meant to last through one expansion, arcane items through two expansions, and myth armor and helms are the only myth items that will be upgrade-able in the lvl 36 expansion.

I can say YES cause it is mythic but if can't afford, try Nordr Jewel of Brutality or Firesquid Rod of Assault :) It's also good in DPS and use Radiant Ice Ribs of Brutality for DMG :) (These are options)

I hate staff. Love the gun but yes makes no sense to create mythic and arcane all the same...

How about a magic book/dictionary that attacks with fireball? *daydreaming*
