Actually, it didn't. In that video they talked about the game Blackstar which had the same story as SL, but it was a different game.

Yeah, Blackstar was intended to be a pc game,
But then it didn't work out and they transformed that pc game engine into smartphone compatible engine and after developing, PL was born.
