So I tried endgame today...

Things that I liked:
- Lots of people
- Teamwork to the max
- Variety of classes play
- Classes are well balanced
- Ctf is actually what its meant to be instead of everyone going for kills

Things that I disliked (almost hated):
- Almost every single person had mythic gear, its not even considered hard to get or rare anymore
- The kills were so EASY to obtain. Way easier than twinking because the damage inflicted was not equal to the amount of hp
- The kills were so FAST. I could kill a fellow rogue in under 5 seconds!
- Debatable but theres too much ganging, nobody would come at me alone :/ and it turns into 2v1
- This is funny: You can win 2v1 and 3v1s at endgame! Wow at twink levels, 2v1s are extremely difficult
- If youre facing a good team (in ctf 5v5) you NEED a good team to win :/
- Heavily dependant on luck factors :-

- stun = Once youre stunned, youre finished.
- crit = 2k crits wow! And the base crits are around 30%
- dodge = you can have 40% base dodge whilst having almost the best damage...


I prefer twinking because the luck factors in endgame are too devastating and the kills are quite easy, even against pros. Well I have only played 4 ctf matches and 3 TDM matches but im pretty sure this is how itll go the whole way through.

Also from the other thread that asked is it possible to consistently kill a maxed out rogue with decent (no mythic) equips? My response shaped from my experiences would be (based on 1v1) no. Why? Because I faced two decent rogues (one with mythic bow) and i took them on 2v1 and still won about 4/5 2v1s.

Meh its alright to endgame when im on the bus or something but id prefer L21 for full time. I like that you cant one hit on L21 and in endgame, stun = win

As does mythic armor over Noble armor, along with the extra armor it brings. And same with a fang of fenrir over a swirl. So mythic bows are negligible in the grand scheme of things.

Vs'd pros like Iluvatris, noisy, aze, ipred, ener etc, fun matches but apart from that the overall pvp is too fast. Kills in under 5 seconds omg

Heavily dependent on LUCK factors - I agree with this... mythic to mythic gears, the basis as with full mythic gear... can crit more than 3k+..

so when a rouge with full mythic start laughing at you because he keeps killing you even you have the same gears.. just tell him.. phew.. your just lucky on critical.. haha.. :-)

Imo playing tank takes skill, you need to time your horn and VB.
And for rogues isn`t it all about whos pulling the trigger faster? ;)

Ipred may have beat you 6-1, but i only won 10-9 and I beat ipred 3-1 (this time). My point is, that if both rogues at endgame use the same strategy(which most do) then the winner is the one with lucky stuns and crits. There is a certain point in 1v1 where you can't get any better, it's all about executing the same strategy each fight.

Ipred is nice I've had some even battles with him (seems only arcane warriors csn handle a mythic rogue equally) miracle when I teink I notice gabging a lot especially in guilds, If ur not in guild thry rush u....and call eveerybody to get on ur side and stand their....elite teinks lation teinks blacklisted etc have all done this.. .maybe guild vs guild is good but pugs games are terrible....no teamwork, east kils, cant die ever if a tank

Depends... Yes a good rogue can kill a mage pretty quick but don't underestimate the little blue guys at lvl31. Much better than at lvl26&21. The mythic gun makes all the difference as it gives 40-50 more damage then the next closest weapon. There was nothing like this at lvl26&21. This allows you to kill most rogues before they even get out of a pseudo stunlock. Again, because of the insane higher damage at end game that you have noticed, in fights between most rogues and mages it often just comes down to who hits first. The rogue has the advantage in this department with a slightly longer range of most of her skills, but most rogues are probably not as good as you or some of the top rogues with range and timing.

Not really. If they are full mythic a rogue can beat the mage every single time (even if the mage is full mythic too). There aren't that many rogues who are full mythic since rogue gear is so expensive (I think full mythic rogue gear is the most expensive of all classes). But if a rogue is full mythic, a mage can stun them, unload on them while they are stunned, and the rogue can wait for the stun the wear off and then take down the mage before the 8 seconds stun period has elapsed. A full mythic sorcerer simply does not hit hard enough to take down a mythic rogue inside of 8 seconds. A full mythic rogue on the other hand can take down a full mythic sorcerer with 2 shots of the bow. The first shot will kill the shield and take about 30% of your health, and the second shot will kill you.

I think the reason mages were ruling rogues for a short time earlier in season 4 was because mage mythic gear was the cheapest of the 3 classes, so most mages were better geared than most rogues (who were mostly using crate gear). So we were able to beat them most of the time. More recently most end game rogues have been improving their gear, and now I'm sure most mages have seen their results against rogues are not what they were a month ago.

Exactly. That is what I meant by pseudo stunlock. Fireball stun immediately followed by slag's or clyde's arcane after the fireball stun has worn off (8sec stun immunity does not apply to slag's and clyde's arcane :)). Can stun and then panic a rogue long enough to kill them before they can move. This is why is comes down to who can hit first and whether or not the arcane of slag/clyde is successful.

Imo...Smoller is THE best mage, hands down, though ive only ever played with him once or twice. Drgrimmy is another pro you must fight.

Try some warriors as well. Some good ones like chiyuk, hardek, etc may own you u nvr know.

Since I mostly endgame now, I love the thrill of fighting pros
