Different servers?

Hey.

In the player guide it shows multiple servers, but I've never seen an option to change or choose one.

Is there any way to do that or does it automatically connect me to whichever is best for me?

I think there used o e a Fnordic server but it got merged with Alterra. See anyone with -fnord and youcan tell they are hardcore oldies lol.

Yes, in the beginning there were two servers, Alterra and Fnord. When they merged Fnord with Alterra, they moved all players over. If you had two of the same name on the one server, then the -fnord was automatically put on the end of it. Everyone with a -fnord in their name got a free char rename.

Yep - there's only one server cluster currently. If the population gets too high we'll open another.

well get that bad boy ready because I know 5 people besides myself that'll be playing on day one of Android, and I imagine there will be thousands more just on day one. I am spreading the word, and once we know the exact day I'll be throwing it out everywhere.
