Known Elite Bael II Spawn Locations

*****spawn mechanics have changed! Still spawns in these four maps, but only after boss kill, and near where you fight the boss.


Seems like there is some confusion in terms of where he spawns and what it takes to get him to spawn. He has been known to spawn in the following four maps:

Windmoore harbor
Skull cove
Mount spyr
Crystal caverns

There is a specific location that he spawns in each map. Once you have killed enough mobs in a map an enemy will spawn in a specific location. This enemy will either be a normal enemy, or if you are really lucky it will be Elite Bael II. Below find pictures of the spawn locations in each map. You will know that you have killed enough mobs for Beal to spawn if you see a normal enemy in this location, but you just didn't get lucky enough to get Bael (if you test it and run to these locations without killing anyone there will be no enemy in these locations).

Do u need to kill any in them?

Sorry. To clarify you need to kill enough mobs to make an enemy to spawn in these locations (just like a normal boss spawn). Once you have killed enough mobs one of two things will happen:

1) A normal enemy will spawn in this location (a majority of the time).
2) Elite Bael II will spawn in this location (a minority of the time).

At some point I'm going to give up hunting for Bael II, he never turns up :(

First time we killed Bael 2 tonight in Skull Cove. We have manage to get him to spawn in all locations except Harbor after update patch.

Just kill all enemies coming up to this point.

Gray area = something not clear. Anyway, just alternate the maps, Bael will be waiting.

You don't don't really have to kill too many to get Bael or his "placeholder" to spawn. Was actually hard for me to run to the spawn locations without killing enough mobs to confirm that nothing was there if you did not kill enough.

I've done many times the maps and kill all the mobs but not only I don't find bael 2 but neither the placeholder why??

Necro much? The whole system of how they spawn has been changed a while back. You have to kill the main boss of the map and then they might spawn which is still pretty rare IMO.

Bael II is no longer found in those exact locations..he now spawns at the boss spawn area after the boss is killed (random chance).

Yeah should have updated thread, but thought it was so old that no one would find it :)

Anyways, he still spawns in these four maps but only randomly spawns after the boss kill, and now spawns in the area you fight the boss.
