I would spend more time on my bike. Watching the TDF these last 3 weeks have gotten me back into my distance riding. No internet would increase my riding times/distance.

Well, I measure using my crazy-o-meter. You don't seem to score too high on that, unless Sadness begs to differ. A low score on the crazy-o-meter usually indicates the difference between woman and girl, although it has been known to make errors. :p

Last April, I was assigned at Papua New Guinea for 2 months. Wasn't able to play AL (drooling over Battle for Nordr) as the internet connection there
cannot compete with other countries (PNG is still a developing country and least visited in the world). They just offer 10mb/day, 50mb/day at a steep price.

It was very hard for me since I'm a techie guy (work is quite difficult there without reliable internet) but I have no choice but to do some outdoor stuff
with people of different personalites.

For me it's like being a castaway in "Survivor Series."

Impossible for me to jump this paradigm. I would have to assume if the internet didn't exist, lots of other things would be different too. Obviously, I wouldn't "miss" the internet, because we couldn't conceive of such a thing being so ingrained in our daily lives.

I would venture to guess that I'd know fewer random facts, I'd rent more DVD's, read more books, and wouldn't have a clue what "Come at me bro!" means... :smiley_simmons:
