I've noticed since I've leveled my bird to 66, using angelic I get this combo called "smitten". It usually happens using the sword set after I've rooted someone... So is that how you do it? It doesn't work all the time, and sometimes not at all. Is that the correct way to do it or am I missing something? HALP!

The Angelic Sword Auto is always a combo. :)

I realize that lol... Add me in game @Powerloss I'll show you... There's lightning and it says "smitten". I think it may have something to do with fire proc...?

Smitten is the past tense of smite, which means to strike with a firm blow.

Oh, I remember this. I think the combo was something like root-auto with str set.

All angelic weapons do this. It is a proc that auto does. Like dark wands have a nightmare proc, angelic has smitten.

Ok so here is the thing with angelic. As a bird, using the angel sword allows the use of the smitten combo without another person. Bears with the angel wand can get the smitten combo without another person, and mages use the talon to achieve the smitten combo without another person.

EDIT: I think the combo to get smitten with swordbird is root auto. The combo for bears with wand is HS auto. For talon mages I think it's light auto.
