I'm going to start twinking in SL.
What lvl should I do, what class, and how much does gear cost?

Depends man, haha..

I personally would recommend 15 Op, 20 Comm, and 30/35 Op

For 15: Premium Op Gear + Thud Gun (See Javiermadriz, Blind) - 45 plat and like 3k
For 20 Comm: Plat Gear + Veteran's Pistol + Glacial or Brisk Holly Shield (See Quan) - 10 or so plat and 60k (if get Brisk)
For 30 Op: Custom Chroma + Black Widow + 30 shield + Dodge Imp (See Javiermadriz) - 75k
For 35 Op: Custom Blade + Nova + Blackstar Shield + Dodge/DM Imp (See Supergotenks) - 170k and 5 plat

Sounds good! But, if you're wanting faster matches, try 21 Op.. same thing as Comm (plat gear + veteran pistol + frosty shield)

Tell me, whats the point of making it an extra level higher? Doesn't that destroy the purpose of twinking at certain levels, EG 10, 15, 20, 25 etc? It gives an unfair advantage, as they have an extra skill point and possibly better gear.

well I use 21 op just cuz I wanted to use my v3 gun instead of my coms v2, others use it due to the ilied weps wich are pretty good lol
