Power of gleipnir bug

I have recently hit 30 on my 2nd character and completed all quests. I know that I wasn't going to use the item Gleipnir so I sold it. Now the area to kraken mines and those 5 places is locked and Hanna (on Dragon's Jewel) is telling me I need the power of gleipnir before I can go through.

Did I need this item to pass through? If so I sold it, what do I do?

Has nothing to do with the amulet. It is refering to a kraken quest that you did not do. Please see the below link for some other info. I know people have a hard time finding this quest (including myself):
