So far my Warrior is lvl 16. So I just wanted to know if the amount that my charged HoR heals per buff is alright, not good, or good. So I checked the skill description and it said 94-118 per buff. But I wanted to test it. So I went into wt1 and went in front of a few mobs and stood still. I went down to about 70-75% health until I ran back and casted a charged HoR. I found that the average per buff was 120-140. Is that normal? Because at lvl 31 I see some maul users that healed me 700+. But another factor is, that my Warrior has mainly rare and epic gear (except for my sword) so that might be something that might make it seem low.

The amount you heal is based on your damage stat. That's why Maul users heal so much (increases your damage stat by a LOT).

Oh it is? Well, thanks.
So if I use a Sword & Shield as weapon, it won't heal much?

It varies. You will notice that a Sword & Shield has a higher DPS rather than DMG stat mainly because that is what tanks use and tanks would spam alot of normal attacks in conjunction with skills that are based on DMG stat like Skyward Smash, Windmill, etc. hence why you will notice that you won't do as much damage with your skills as oppose to doing it with a 2-handed weapon.

"it won't heal as much" is correct. to give a vague idea, some of my earlier notes indicate 292-365 heal with {northern tower + gleipnir} and 399-499 heal with {storm sword + amethyst}.

to b very brief healing at lvl31 (all r approx)
140dmg = 350hp (with sword shield)
185dmg = 450hp (with bael axe, storm sword)
210dmg = 520hp (with entom hammer)
400dmg = 850hp (with maul, full mythic)

So would best weapon most likely be a Sword?

For solo, storm sword is cheap and it's one of the best weapon around. For tanks, a sword and shield will do fine. As long as you can taunt, tank, and heal.. you'll do fine with party.

depends upon what build u r using. u should use this weapon only when skills has long cd.
this storm sword pairs well with build having AT, WM, VB and HoR.
hammer same with above bt replace AT with SS.

again, it solely depends on what role you wanna take as a warrior. You could be the tank-support type or you could be the offensive type. :)

Thanks for replies guys :)
I want my Warrior to have high health and armor (as does every Warrior) but also can do decent damage. Now, I don't know if this'll even work out because a Sword & Shield as weapon increases health and armor, but it's damage is low. Also, the way other people say it that hammers are so slow in auto-attacking makes me not want to get one. So I'm thinking a Sword would be best weapon. But maybe next free respec weekend I'll play around with builds to see which wpon to use.

Really? I thought strength stat dictated heal. Why does a friend with 5 more strength, but 50 less damage return more HP than me?

Yes. Damage on the inspect screen is misleading, and does not account for % bonus from pets. Just saying, that could be one possibility.
