Really? What if it was because of some extravagant technical jargon which only few on these forums understood? You still want that explanation? Sometimes things just "go wrong" for whatever reason. Not sure why it is such a big deal to know exactly what happened.

Watch tv, spend time with your family, go for a run.... I hope your life isn't this tied to a single video game.

Assuming the servers are hosted where their main office is, the time is 5:00 PM.

What they are saying is the one of the properties in the servers main settings did not respond as planned.
This causing everything else to malfunction, causing the server to crash.
