"Thanks" disappearing?

20 received thanks of mine disappeared somehow and other forum members have noticed their thanks meters depleting as well. Why/how was this done?

I personally think u, StG, have the answer to our mystery as it's unlikely for some random thanks fairy to remove hundreds of thanks during a short amount of time from different members of these forums.

Well, I know people can remove thanks.

But also, if a thread or post is deleted, the thanks get deleted with it.

Aed, both of these options still allow the thanks to remain in terms of "Thanked X Times in X Posts".

they stay b/c they don't delete, they move them. if they decide to delete ones that they moved the thanks go bye bye.

When the Ambassador section of the forums was deleted I lost almost 250+ post and a lot of "Thanks".
