5k is reasonable. with the nerf of Powerleveling people are buying gear their level. you can maybe double it. or sell it for the same amount.

i usually tap a character, tap give, and highlight the gear. i dont give it to them. I see the stats difference, and if its an improvement, i ask them if they are interested in a weapon. i never trade unless they say "sure, let me see".

I used Horus for a long time on my archer...then i made a dexmage. but horus is good.
