Elite weapons

Once this new cap comes out, do you think the value of the l76 elite items will go up as the l71 gear did? The l76 items seem much more common than the l71 gear, so id think getting ahold of them to liquefy them will be much more difficult. However I'm sure 95% of people will be selling them or cheaper than they are now, so people may stock up.

In the Humania cap it seemed a lot more rare to see someone with elite weapons. I don't see them getting to be the value of l71. What do you think?

Most likely they will stay the same as there are a lot in circulation right now.

They will go up in price because, after all, they will be discontinued. But they won't go as high as humanian elites. L71 weapons were cooler, had cool procs and were rarer.

I wouldn't stock up on BSM elites.

I think the prices will increase, just not as drastically as the 71 elites. They require 300 of a stat and don't have procs, but they will be discontinued so that will raise the price.

(Also, slightly off-topic, but if the L71 Ichor elites were tradeable, how much do you think they would sell for now? I'd have to say at least 10M a weapon, especially the Fiery Axe one, which is probably the first elite one-handed STR equip.)

I agree with several others that the L76 elites will stay less valuable than 71. As mentioned, the 71 items were more useful because a) the stat reqs were sane and b) the weapon had useful and interesting procs. 76 items have no procs at all and require insane stats that are not justified because the weapons have nothing interesting going for them. Oh, and they have been available for going on a year now, so there are far, far more of them in circulation than those from 71 cap.

If any will go up in price, it will be the bow since it's actually reasonable for several classes to have enough dex to use it and it does good damage. But as soon as there's a new cap and it's surpassed in damage by the next new thing, it will be interesting only for its collector status.
