Okay so I know PL wants us to sign up for facebook on PL but I don't think we get anything out of it do we? More fans?

Reason I got a FB is to chat with friends far away from where I live.
Private reasons..
Their people such as stalkers and thieves who try to steal stuff so I just don't think their is any value of giving your real name to the public of PL.

I'm not sure they WANT us to sign up. It is just an option/suggestion they have put out to players who want to be a part of a more public aspect of the game (more public than forums).
