HOW DO YOU GET IT?

Well folks, I've been talking about a guide for a while now and it took me a while to get it this far. Right now it's roughly 9 pages of sweet juicy pvp information that applies to CTF mostly. I'll eventually make a TDM guide too but the principles in the beginning apply for any PVP in pretty much any MMORPG. By learning these techniques you'll definitely increase your KD and have a lot more fun playing the game. I HIGHLY recommend you start forming small PVP teams. People you are comfortable with and can train with in team. A team that knows each other is very deadly and can take out teams bettered geared than them.

So I won't continue blabbing on no more; This is how it's going to work.

Since this is a PVP guide you can only get the guide in the following manner;



Only those Wearing EOS tag while challenging will be eligible to fight
1. Gear UP and get Ready to Fight
2. Challenge a participating Officer to a 1v1 (if available) If the Officer is busy with something else don't spam PM or you will be removed for being an annoyance. I will update the Officers at a later point once I have a few screen shots. For now I'll list the names. The officer will Gear down to fight you at ur level. For instance if you are 100% legendary the officer will fight without helm and armor. Officers will not be able to use Arcane pets. IF you are full myth and challenge an officer, the officer will stay full myth but won't be able to use an arcane pet (if they have)
3. You will fight the Officer 1v1 for 3 times. IF you defeat the Officer (even once) the Officer will PM you the Link to the PVP Guide.

The reason I want the Officers to scale down their own gear is to A) make the fight more fair and B) make these trials a training ground for them as well.

Hey Froh,

The PvP Guide is more of an advanced one for the strong PvPer - not the basics. So if a member beat an officer that would prove him/her elite enough for that guide, which outlines stuff like positions to hold during clashes and loads of other cool stuff!

Some officers like yours truly are really easy to beat, and if our opponent is non-mythic we'll downgrade as well. It wouldn't be tooooo much of a challenge!

As Paul stated, there are better members than officers but that's not the point.

The Officer will "scale down" to meet you on your level. I usually don't put in my 100%. The idea of the challenge is that you can start getting pointers from other experienced players. My idea is not to keep the guide from the guild but to inspire friendly engagement, to test skills and tactics and to get to know each other on the PVP field.

We'll be announcing a PVP contest soon. All those who will participate will get the guide without having to challenge an officer. Will let you guys know within about a week or two max. Event scheduled for end of November and beginning of December. Dates to be confirmed.

Working on a PVP tournament as well. Getting a few officers to participate. Essentially there will be 1 officer per team.

Here's a basics on how it will be;

1 Officer Per Team

Teams = 1 Warrior, 2 Mages, 2 Rogues
No pets!
Flag must be scored by at least 3/5 team members. 1 player would be able to score 3 times but 2 "flags" must be done by 2 of the remaining team members.

Each team will inscribe with 100k (roughly 20k per player or Officer can sponsor the fee {Some officers already said they'll pay it all})
Winning team walks away with all the gold (trying to get in 10 -12 teams so price will either be 1 mil or 1.2mil (200-240k each participant)

BONUS: All those who will participate in tourney automatically will gain access to PVP Guide

Event most probably will happen first or second week of December.

Keep your earholes open...I'll be announcing in the coming weeks.

Just a quick headcount...who would be interested in participating (teams will not be stacked)

NAME OF THE TOURNAMENT
EOS 4 vs 4 Battle: EOS Clash Tournament for lvl 36 players

No of teams allowed: 8 (for the moment, maybe more to be added if I will have more than 8 teams)
Type: 4 vs 4 , best of 3 clashes


1. Level requirement for EOS 4 vs 4 battle tournament:
* Level Requirement: L36

2. Gears allowed:
* Any gear will be allowed, but there will be this certain exception : NO ARCANE WEAPONS ALLOWED :)

3. Tournament Description:
* This tournament will consist of 8 teams with 4 players on each team (+1 sub per team) fighting 3 clashes in the middle of classic CTF map.
* There will be 3 clashes and first team who win 2 clashes will go further.

4. Matches will be played as following :

* Before starting the match, both teams needs to meet in one spawn directly opposite to their opponent's spawn room.
* Paulsebi together with another officer will join the room in order to check each team and make sure rules are respected.
* Time of the tourney will be established and we will discuss about it in order to make it available for most teams
* Before each clash, I will count down (3,2,1 and GO) and you will have to fight in the middle. It's LAST MAN STANDING, means if you die you have to wait in your spawn till all your team die or win in that clash.
* Once your team wins a clash, you will have +1 added to your score. Best of 3 clashes will win the game and the team will go in the next round.

5. Time of Tournament:
* The tournament will begin at the date I will propose and all slots are filled.


5. Tournament Rules:

* A team may not have more than 1 officer!
* A team may not have more than 1 warrior!
* Teamn should consist of : 1 war / two mages / 1 rogue OR 1 war / one mage / two rogues!
* Before starting the match, each team must regroup into ONE spawn that is directly across from where the other team's spawn location is.
* Before starting the match, me and one officer will check both teams in spawn and once everything is agreed the game will start in the middle after the GO. I will count : 3,2,1, GO and at go you start to KILL!
* No macros
* No summoning/dismissing of pets
* No trash talking during the entire time of tournament match & before/after the tournament match is taking place may occur. If any team player is found to be trash talking or behaving non-sportsmanlike, they will be disqualified and the team will not be allowed to sub in another player.
* A team is allowed to have 1 sub, but that sub may not qualify to play if there is 2 of the same class active in the team.
* If a team does not meet on the time & date specified by me for the tourney, they will be disqualified.
* If a team member goes AFK, it is up to the other team to decide wether to wait or not. FAIRPLAY needs to be in place!
* Any drama/situations/disagreements once the tournament is in session must be PM'd to me or the other officer who will help me.
* There may be no more than 2 stun-related pets (this includes terrify & panic pets) on one team. This tournament will require variation.
* Arcane pets will be allowed, but no more than 2 arcane pets will be allowed on the team.
Conclusion : 2 arcane pets / 2 stun pets per team! If you use samael (arcane stun pet) then you can use one more stun pet per team....
* Arcane weapons not allowed!
* Mythic items allowed!
* You must post the team you are registering with on the EOS thread and specify the equipment of each player, pets used, name of the team, class (details bellow in "How to register")
* One is not allowed to switch out team-members once the tournament has started, so, choose your teammates wisely.
* A sub may not be allowed on another team as well.
* There may not be the same player of different teams.
* Two mythic players allowed per team ( a mythic player is consider a player who has from 3 to 5 mythic items) and two non mythic players allowed per team ( a non mythic player is considered a player with max 2 mythic items)
* NO VANITY ALLOWED DURING EACH ROUND, so we can check each player and if the rules are respected.
* ANY RULES BROKEN WILL be taken in consideration and this can result in : team to be disqualified.

These rules may be changed at any time before the tournament begins.

6. Prizes:

* 1st place : 2 million gold per team ( means 2 mil / 5 players = 400 k for each player of the team)
* 2nd place : 1 million gold per team ( means 1 mil / 5 players = 200 k for each player of the team)
* 3rd place : 500 k per team (means 500 k / 5 players = 100 k for each player of the team)

* each member of the teams from 1st, second and third place will receive a dedicated signature ( with the guild name in it, the place where you were situated in the tourney : 1st place, 2nd place or 3rd place) - this is still under discussions with the designer Deadroth :)

* maybe other prizes to be added

7. How to Register:

Only one member from each team, has to post on EOS thread once the register will start:

a) TEAM NAME (name your team how you wish :) )
b) Players in the team
c) Class of each player
d) who are the two non mythic players and who are the two mythic players ( mythic player is considered the player with 3 to 5 mythic items and non mythic player is considered the player with max 2 mythic items)
e) gear each player in the team use
f) pets used by players in one team ( please take in consideration the rule regarding two arcane / 2 stun pets)

So I'll start off by saying that after much (much much much) thinking, I've made the (painful) decision to leave AL for good. T^T.
With so many things going on in the real world (*Cough collegestuff cough), I think it's best for me to take a step away from AL and center myself back into reality.

With this said, I'd like to say a big THANKYOU to paul, who does his 100% best in keeping such a large guild together, alive, and winning. You definitely deserve my best leader award. You go paul! *thumbs up* :D
Also, a big thanks to all the awesome officers! You guys are like the guardian angels of eos, and without you (and paul), we would crumble. So thanks for all of the energy you put in making eos even better :)
And to all the friends I've made during my time in eos and AL, thanks for making AL absolutely, positively, utterly WONDERFUL :D I'll definitely miss the memorable times we had, whether they be fighting bosses, hunting, trolling around, and just chillin like sweet villains >;D

it's ari here and this is my goodbye letter.

So I'll start off by saying that after much (much much much) thinking, I've made the (painful) decision to leave AL for good. T^T.
With so many things going on in the real world (*Cough collegestuff cough), I think it's best for me to take a step away from AL and center myself back into reality.

With this said, I'd like to say a big THANKYOU to paul, who does his 100% best in keeping such a large guild together, alive, and winning. You definitely deserve my best leader award. You go paul! *thumbs up* :D
Also, a big thanks to all the awesome officers! You guys are like the guardian angels of eos, and without you (and paul), we would crumble. So thanks for all of the energy you put in making eos even better :)
And to all the friends I've made during my time in eos and AL, thanks for making AL absolutely, positively, utterly WONDERFUL :D I'll definitely miss the memorable times we had, whether they be fighting bosses, hunting, trolling around, and just chillin like sweet villains >;D

Just to name a few: Sinarea (omg SINA!! GUH!! No lie, I'm gonna miss you like cray haha T^T. TEAMs can be fully pink if they want to. The only limit is 2 Full Myth Max. IF some teams want to be full pinks by all means. The event is to get the guild interacting with each other so now you know.

Don't be discouraged about a team not being full myth...you'll have a tough time but good teamwork can beat good gear anyday
