Hello yet again!

First of all, as much as I would like to refrain from posting topics like these, i was just dumbfounded by what I found out earlier.

as a background of the story, I have a guild mate/friend which is a fellow warrior. We are both lvl 31 and here are our items.

ITEM • MINE • HIS
Weapon • Devourer Maul of Potency lvl 31 • (same)
Helm • Bonechill facemask of Savvy 31 • Champions helm of will 31
Armor • Noble Plate of Will 30 • Champions Plate of will 31
Ring • Glowstone Hoop of Assault 31 • (same)
Jewel • Arcane Pendant of Potency 31 • Divine Pendant of Assault 30
Pet • Malison lvl 15 • Malison lvl 12

Personally, Item wise, I think I have the upper tiered gears compared to him since the only item (IMHO) he has which is better than mine is the Jewel though the diff is not that big since its for lvl 30 and mines for 31.

However, I am dumbfounded to found out that:
He has more HP than mine (mine is 4649 while he has about 4800+ both unbuffed)
His damage is higher by about 5.0+ than mine
His DPS is higher than mine by about 3.0 or more
His armor is higher than mine by about 30+
The only thing I have that is higher than him is mana (I have 1000, he has only 900)

I don't know how it happened. I am a pure STR warrior with maxed out damage, might, and durability.
As far as I know, a warriors HP and damage is only affected by STR.
I can't see how on any way he has more HP, armor, and damage than mine considering the items we are both wearing.
We even tried exchanging and wearing each others items but I only got as high as 4730 HP something while he had 4.6k++ wearing mine.
I did not have the opportunity to ask his stats since he got DC'ed and went offline but the last thing he said was he ain't pure str and placed a bit of int for mana.

The question are as follows:
1. How come that I with no stat pt delegated to int, have higher Mana than him?
2. Does other stat aside from STR affects a warriors damage, armor, and DPS?

Thanks for your opinions. This game never fails to amaze me in one way or another. Just when I though I already know how it works, I find another thing that baffles me. like this one.

again thanks for your incoming inputs.

Posted it here for a more diverse variation of opinions. :)

1. Might be his stat armor. Int may be higher then him.

2. Int will give you significant dmg

every stat point, either STR, Dex or INT gives a boost to HP... but with different proportion in each class... For rogue, STR 10 HP, DEX 3 HP and INT 5 HP per point. for Mage STR 10 HP, INT 3 HP and DEX 5 HP. and for warrior STR 10 HP, DEX 5 HP and INT 3 HP... CMIIW

for damage, if I'm not mistaken, rogue class are affected with DEX and minor INT. Mage class are affected by INT and minor DEX. and for warrior class it seems STR and minor DEX... to be noted... i feel something special in sorcerer damage calculation, i think there's some multiplier that exponentiate the damage as INT stat goes up... didn't know it for sure, but i cannot formulate the damage calculation for mage

some critical are affected with INT... and DEX also affect dodge and crit.

from this point, I suspect that your item probably go STR with INT skewed, and your friend goes STR and DEX. that explains that his damage is higher than yours

my impression is that crit is derived from dex only.

try it on rogue, put on int only pet, and your crit will slightly raised compared to when not applying pet

What passive skills do you both have? That may be why.

I already respec'd and transfered my passive durability skill points (since it has practically invisible effect) to Passive Agility 5/5.
However, I did not know that INT also adds a bit HP to warriors. Planning to transfer my passive damage skill points (since its also practically invisible) to passive knowledge
and go full assault on items to make up with the lost Damage pts. :)

thanks for all your inputs. :)

Thank you sooo much for this post! That's is something I didn't know till you've written it here. I am worrior, and lets say I am around 4,7k hp and lets say 255 dps. Now when I summon hazel which grants 30str stat boost, I have like exactly 4,7k and 261 dps. If I summon malison which grants 20-20-20 stat boost, I have 255 dps but 4720 so I actually get +20hp from a pet which grants 10 less str stat boost than hazel. Bothered me soooo much, I tested ribbit/mali/hazel etc, couldnt get how i get additional hp :) Now it's all clear. Thanks alot for info. :) Appreciated.

my impression is that crit is derived from dex only.

Ditto.intel does contribute to dmg not much but significant increase.hence why you normally see gears with "potency" version can be expensive as the int contributes to dmg not just dex.and potency label is dex and int.

Im not sure for warrior but rogue wise ive shared a pvp build tht i used in rogue class discussion.it highlights the difference in pve build should you need some pointers.i would say its not an entirely unique build but might a few things tht mk sokendifference.cheers and good luck.
