Should I open my locked crates or sell them?

I am wondering if it's worth it to spend the money to open the crates, or just sell them for gold. I am planning to spend the 50 bucks and open 40 crates, but I want to have some amount of security that it is going to be an investment instead of a rip.

Please help me AL community.

No one can guarantee that you will manage to loot a mythic or an arcane item.
Its a gamble imho.if you are in need of gold wait till the new cap and sell them.If you feel bit lucky or like to gamble try to open them on the new cap ( new cap because of the mage arcane weapon )

everyone knows its a rip. but we still open them anyway. kinda like how people gamble at a casino already knowing that they are gonna lose.

I highly suggest you sift through these forums and read all the complaint threads regarding crates. There's quite a few, although most locked by forum mods, that may influence you to make a decision.

Nevertheless, if you decide to open them, please don't start up a thread tomorrow ranting about how you got 6k gold in every crate. Good luck to you!

for instance, i opened 180 the other day and got one mythic. vili's. and 900k gold, and a few plats. the time before i got myth helm in 43 crates. its pure luck.

There is zero security in opening crates. You have guaranteed gold when you sell. If you're looking for security, sell them. If you're looking to gamble, open them. If you open them, wait until the next crate event to optimize your chances of getting drops.
