What's the best way of spending your platinum?

I am planning to buy some platinum to sell good items for good prices, what is the vest thing i can buy with plat that sells?

Buy some and I mean some gold with it, and open locked crates. At least, that's what I did and I made 2mil easily.

If you are talking about Plat to Gold conversion, the highest is Luck Elixir -> Lock Crates, which is on average 4 Plat to 25K right now (Assuming average of 2 drops in 30 minutes). That is way over the 25 plat to 25K of Gold Purchase. Now, opening crates is 15K + 15Plat = ?Hmm? Not sure, but would need to average over 115K to be worth more then the Luck Elixir. Of course, the luck elixir takes ~Time~, and requires you to ~play~ the ~game~ which could be done for ~free~.

Purchasing pets with Plat does not reward an egg to trade/sell

Buying items with plat to sell is never a good deal. The best way to make money using plat is to get the luck elixirs for 4 plat each and then farm for crates. With that 4 plat elixir you can usually get 2-3 crates in a half hour which will make you about 40k gold.

Crates, vanity, and pets could be some plat burners.

But I'd save a few for the next expansion when new pets and stuff comes out :)

Or when you need gold to buy items.
