Its not the literel 'Urban' meaning. It just means a shiny twinkly low lvl character.. Mostly coz they used forerunners and heroic/villainous sets back in the day. People spent a lot on twink gear to make their character look good.

this is incorrect. a twink is simply a character that has access to another character that can fund it (in any game). gradually the term evolved into having another character / account.
what's interesting to note that the word smurf is usually used synonymously with twink in many popular MMORPGS but in AL we simply call the little blue guys smurfs
