Questions about Kraken Skewer

1. Does its reduce armor/damage proc every time it hits?
2. Is it similar to Wrath of Bael' s proc?
3. Does anyone use it in PvP with good results?

Regarding point 3: dont see many of them at endgame pvp. Most mages use mythic gun or borean cage rifle.

To answer question 1 I can say without a doubt that a PROC does not occur with every hit. The acronym PROC stands for Programmed Random Occurance: The key there being Random.

I think the only reason people buy it is for looks

It is absolutely not the best choice as a staff (nordr jewel better) and its also not the best choice as a pvp weapon (borean, runic, nordr jewel are all better)

It was the highest damage staff for level 25/26 and probably was the best PvE sorcerer weapon at those levels, but not so good for PvP because like most staffs you have to aim it. I did use one for PvE during the Kraken expansion and it works very nicely. It has similar damage to the Oracle gun, but higher dps.
