Merching contest

What do you guys think of a merching contest.There is a team of two and they have to merch the most cash they can get in one day.Whichever team makes the most in that day advances to the next round.They win the amount of cash the other team made in that day too.What do you guys think about this?

Even if you tracked everything they listed on cs, they could still have a friend give them items for free and promise the friend part of the winnings in exchange for the free items.
