Every time I watch an LOTR movie, I still think he's gay or cross-gendered. JS..
Also, this has been suggested a couple times, not long after the limited release, and I don't remember seeing a mod/dev post. I could be mistaken though.

It'd take a lot of time to create another gender and modified items for that class to suit that new gender. We all know female warriors cant--ahem--wear that chain mail. >.>

They could make a female style of chain mail
