31. I know smurfs say they are overlooked because rouges can 1 shoot.

But think about it

You can get all the mythic gear

You can destroy a rouge using fb frost light and shield

You can control a mob and you're the best class for pve

2. NO sorc (good ones at least) uses frost in PvP, I mean wth?

And... rogues r best for PvE. They dominate timed runs. I challenge you to find a full sorc pt on timed lb.

1. for a sorc theres no point playing anywhere other than endgame, thats the most balanced.
2. noisy meant pve as in - non elites. For grinding, pve kills (mnt boulder, wt4).
also mages are good in elites for their DoT and croud control

Lvl 27 is great for mage. At least it was when i was there. Also, Teabeze, the only mage with all pvp achieves, is at 23, but did spend a lot of her time at 13.

And Alhuntrazeck, frost is very useful in pvp, maybe more in twinking but still good in end game. Light, frost, shield, and heal is what i used at 27, and is also what Teabeze uses at 23. The only thing that makes fb worth getting is the stun, but overall frost deals more dmg. So yep, try it sometime. :)

Bit of an irrational statement there. Like you mentioned, you should probably try it out first before passing judgement. I know plenty of "good" sorcerers who use frost in PvP, because they also use it to balance their effectiveness in PvE. I am not the best sorcerer in PvP, but I also use frost and do quite well. It's extremely useful for kiting warriors or slowing players who are attempting to flee. Also, if you look at it's base damage, it's the exact same as lightning. Of course, lightning has more devastating crits on top of a 15% dmg upgrade; but frost bolt is a very good skill to have in any hybrid spec.

Many players enjoy using a hybrid spec so that they can effectively function in both PvE and PvP environments without polarizing themselves to one end or the other.

EDIT: Sorry to keep this thread off on a tangent. I'd say the best bracket to play a sorcerer is end-game no matter how you look at it :)

31 is probably the most balanced level according to these people.

I personally have tried these levels, these are my experiences

10 - very very squishy
13 - very so squishy
23 - squishy, im happy with this level because I can kill some using the best gears at lvl 21. Another this is that you're not too limited with your skill and mana.
27 - planning on moving to this level, as Erdnase suggested.

I suggest you do gradual levels like I did and see where are you most comfortable.
