So I was thinking, The expansion could raise the prices of crates since there will be the new smurfy arcane weapon. And if mythics will ever drop the prices will go up more. So is it worth buying crates now and selling them when the price goes up? So we could buy them for 13k now and when the price goes up sell them for alot more. What do you guys think?

This has been asked before but I can't remember if STS said whatever chests you have currently will only drop the items that were available at the time the chest was picked up or if new items will also be included in them. If I ever find the post I'll copy and paste.

Crates that are already in circulation will have the new loot added to them autonomously. Likewise, crates that are already in circulation will drop level appropriate gear if you wait until L36 to open them.

If that is the case, everyone will now buy crates and sell them at the price raise. Then the price will go down again. Like now, putting locked on CS more then it's being bought. Causing price drop.

I see the prices of crates going up to 15k.

I see them going to 20-25k in the first 2 weeks or so but they'll drop to 15-18k after the "crate rush" is over
