When I go to flag in PvP, I can't put the flag back. The ping is green and I'm at the right flagging spot. I stay there but can't stay there forever. Please fix. Thanks! :)

You can't return a flag to the oppoents goal.
You have to go all the way to the other end to score. Returning it is stupid anyways. Why take, when you can't give back?

The only reason to take a flag if you have no intention of scoring is when you are hoping for a suicide (to avoid a death).
Otherwise, it's as Noisy said, you have to score, else you will hold the flag until you are killed, either by an opponent or the HP drain from the flag.
